I’ve been needing new cameras for a while now and I finally got these and These solar security cameras have amazing camera quality. It has a long battery life and is really easy to set up and pair up with the app. It’s ethical and every part powered by one base station making it convenient for fixes. Not only that, the 2k camera quality is amazing. The old cameras that I previously had installed had really blurry night vision, so this is a huge improvement for me. You can really see the difference in the photos I’ve attached. I’m also able to view up to 4 screens at a time with a 360 degrees cover and that really saves time. Another thing that I really like about this product is that it’s solar powered, so it’s resourceful.

Il comprend une notice détaillée, une application facile à utiliser, 6 caméras solaires tout-en-un ainsi qu’une station de base avec câble Ethernet.L’installation est très simple : il suffit de connecter la station de base au routeur de la maison. Les caméras communiquent ensuite avec la station via le réseau, sans avoir besoin d’appairer chaque caméra en Wi-Fi individuellement. C’est un vrai gain de temps.Le kit est livré avec une carte mémoire de 32 Go, mais cette capacité est un peu juste pour un stockage vidéo longue durée. Je prévois donc de passer à une capacité supérieure. Le système prend en charge des solutions de stockage plus importantes, et après avoir contacté le service client, j’ai confirmé qu’une carte micro SD jusqu’à 512 Go était compatible.La station de base dispose également de ports HDMI et USB pour connecter un écran externe. Comme les caméras couvrent plusieurs zones de ma maison, j’ai ajouté un moniteur pour surveiller facilement toutes les images au même endroit.Les caméras solaires intégrées sont un vrai avantage. La recharge fonctionne très bien et évite d’avoir à installer des panneaux solaires séparés. Même sans soleil direct, elles continuent à se recharger correctement.La qualité d’image est excellente de jour comme de nuit. La vision nocturne et l’éclairage sont très efficaces, et la détection de mouvement fonctionne bien : elle capture les vrais mouvements sans générer trop de fausses alertes. La qualité vidéo et audio est également très satisfaisante.

Great cameras

Basically you just turn them on and download the app and it all connects on its own. The picture quality is great, even at night. I also like that you can move them. Solar power actually keeps them charged and the WiFi range is the furthest yet. I live in the country so there isn’t much here and they stay connected. I will be getting more!

I have a couple of ARCCTV cameras already and I'm mostly very happy with them. Like the other ones in the range that I have, this camera is well made from sturdy plastics, with a nice looking design and smooth movement of the camera pan & tilt mechanism.The camera is fully solar powered, so you do need to be careful where you mount it, but you can also power it via USB if you have an outdoor waterproof supply. The camera is designed only to be mounted one way, via the screws on the back, so it is worth taking a bit of time deciding the best location - you want somewhere that has good visual coverage of the area, but also direct sunlight for at least part of the day. This might rule out mounting it under a roofline, in order to maximise the power.The camera uses Wifi, so you also need to consider the strength of your Wifi signal when using it. I found the bulk of the set-up time was really just finding the best location for the camera.One thing I'm less keen on is the app. I found set-up to be fiddly, and while there are plenty of options in the app, I also found it over complicated for my needs. I managed to get used to it but I still don't find it unituitive.Aside from that, I do think this offers good value for money considering the fiunctionality you get for the price.

This camera is superb value for the money (currently around fifty quid). You get a solar powered wireless camera with motor drive camera unit that can be accessed from anywhere as long as your home WiFi is on. The only thing missing is a SD card, which would have been nice.The camera is held on the wall by a mounting bracket, and can be removed by pulling gently off the bracket. There's a tongue on the top of the bracket that acts as a locator to help installation/removal, and also prevents the release clips having a load on them and so accidentally coming off once up.Software setup is a doddle once you've registered, though the T&C's and privacy terms do seem excessively long - almost like their designed to make you not bother reading them.The lens covers a reasonable area, but is not as wide angle as some other cameras I've used. I can just about get the patio and back of our house when installed 3.5m up, but it misses some of the area under it in order to get the other end of the house. A previous camera got half the garden as well. Video quality is excellent, and night vision is also very good. Human detection works perfectly.The app is quite good, and while you do get banner ads for cloud services and icons showing you've not subscribed to some features I didn't find them excessively intrusive. You don't seem to get full screen splash ads. From the app you can control the motorised camera in 3 speed sensitivities, and access recordings via events list or the timeline.I installed it south facing in the late afternoon with 60% battery and by 11am the next morning it was 100% on a sunny day in May, so the panel seems to be pretty good at keeping it topped up.I'm very likely to get a second one for the other side of the house.UPDATE : after a little more use I've started getting full screen unskippable ads on app startup nagging about subscription services. You can get past them after a few clicks, but that has made me drop it from 5 to 4 stars

I did some research on solar cameras. These had a great rating. I am very impressed with the system. The quality is great. The only thing that would be better, is the instructions. The print is small, and is very basic. I would definitely recommend to other people, and would purchase again.

This security camera is really good and surprised me with its picture quality and viewing range.You get the large solar panel which charges well with just daylight and even better with sunlight which is handy as you don’t have much positional movement to angle it at the sun, but it does act as a protective shield for the camera mount below in case of snow.This camera doesn’t have any power or charging cable/port as it relies on the solar panel to charge it and the internal battery to power it overnight, so it’s only good if you get a decent amount of light and sun.The camera mount attaches with screws to the wall than the camera slides on and clicks into place so nice and easy with a good secure mounting and solid feel, I feel confident the camera is safe with all the moving it might do.Setting up in the app was easy and I was surprised with the video quality, at night its good but when you activate the white light at night it makes a world of difference, I was so impressed with how good both pictures were.Overall, at ￡59.99 this exceeded my expectations for picture quality and its good value for money.

When I first unpacked the camera I thought the solar panel was missing from the box. Then I realised it was attached to the top of the camera. The combined camera and panel are still a very compact combination and ideal IMO for a discrete camera setup. Its much easier to put the combo up than have to fix a panel separately and have wires trailing etc.The unit itself is solidly put together and should be weather proof. Switching on it prompts you to set up the camera by connecting to the ARCCTV App. However, be aware that if you already have a camera connected to this App then you will need to subscribe to the service to connect further cameras.There is the option to connect to a base station if you have one or alternatively just via the App or to insert a micro SD card and record data that way. So there are plenty of options to expand the system to fit your requirements, for example if you have a large building that needs several monitoring points.I really like the design of this camera as the integrated solar panel makes things much easier for installation. You can if you wish attach a separate solar panel via the USB-C connector so you can get power if the camera is in a shaded area.In summary if you need a system that you can grow as needed I can recommend this product

This is a security camera that doesn't need to be plugged into the mains. This is excellent for areas around your property where there is no available power sources. I have a camera on my garage powered from inside the garage covering the front of the house but at the rear I have no easily available power for a camera. This has solved that problem being solar powered. At first I was a little sceptical as to whether it would get sufficient light to run constantly (it has an internal battery for night time use charged during daylight hours) however after testing on the side of the house it appears to work without any issues (luckily the side of the house I need the coverage for is south facing so gets plenty light) even at this time of year with shorter daylight hours.The setup process of the camera was really easy, download the app and it takes you through the process step by step and only took a few minutes to do. The app is very simple to use to view the live footage or recorded footage if you install a micro SD card (not included). The camera can also be controlled from the app to pan and tilt if you need to adjust the view. It also has a two way audio feature so you can hear what is going on and speak through the camera.The box contains all the mounting screws and plugs needed to attach this to the wall.This is a great little outdoor security camera if you have issues with mains power availability. At ￡59.99 (at the time of writing) this is really good value for money

I was keen to try this solar-powered security camera, mainly for the promise of full 360° coverage without the faff of wiring, and it has largely delivered a reassuring performance.Installation was refreshingly straightforward. The included template made drilling neat and painless, and pairing it with WiFi via the app took only a few minutes. A quick tip here: during setup, make sure your router is on 2.4 GHz, even if you plan to use 5 GHz afterwards. Also, you will need to supply your own microSD card if you want local storage.The 4MP resolution is impressively sharp, easily picking out faces and finer details. The pan and tilt function is smooth, and I found the motion tracking particularly handy. It follows people rather than every passing leaf, which saves a lot of unnecessary alerts. Notifications arrive promptly, and being able to check live footage or speak through the camera adds a useful layer of interaction.Night performance is strong too, with both infrared and colour night vision supported by a built-in spotlight. The siren feature is a nice deterrent, though thankfully I have not needed to test it in anger.The solar charging works well in decent sunlight, keeping the battery topped up through brighter months. In winter, especially in less sunny spots, you may need to manage usage or bring it in for a top-up charge. Positioning is key here, ideally around 2 to 3 metres high and somewhere with good sun exposure.At ￡60, it feels well-equipped for the price, especially with no subscription required if you use local storage.I hope you found my review helpful and informative.

For some time I’ve fancied the idea of having a solar panelled camera as I have a large garden and no power source at the bottom. I have, however I have been sceptical on how good they would work and the actual footage they produce.This ARCCTV Solar Security Camera was offered to me for free to test and review and was excited to give it a go!It comes well packaged with everything to need to get it installed.Everything about this was seamless and I’m far from a techy guy and I found it so easy. The app talks you through it step by step and found my camera straight away.I cannot fault anything, the set up was so easy and the picture quality is spot on, the only little problem I saw was when mounting the camera to the frame, it feels as though it doesn’t click in securely, apart from that it’s a great camera.It has motion alert, Two way audio,can clearly see the garden even at night and is a fantastic price! It does exactly what I needs it to do and would certainly recommend this to anyone

Great seller and awesome product. Item shipped quickly and received exactly as described. I had to wait a few days to install due to heavy winds and snow around Christmas but finally installed all 4 cameras yesterday. The app is easy to use and the system is running flawlessly. This is an incredible system for the money. It's a great feeling knowing that I can keep eyes on my entire property 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I highly recommend this seller and product.
